Flexible Schedule Options

TVLC Full Day Camp:

Full-day camp hours are 7:00am-6:00pm. We ask that all children arrive by 9:00 so activities may begin promptly.

TVLC Half Day Camp:

Half Day Camp hours are offered from 8:30-12:30.

TVLC offers families the freedom to select weeks that fit your summer schedule. You can pick as little as two weeks or enroll your child for all 10 weeks.

Activities

Homeroom:

Each camper will be assigned an age-appropriate homeroom where they will meet their counselors and friends at the start and end of each camp day. Each camper will have a place to store all personal belongings.

The Arts :

Campers explore various art mediums using paint, clay, and collage. 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional art work will be created. Hands on projects include puppets, tie-dye, jewelry, Popsicle creations, & bookmarks, to name a few. Campers will also create a theatrical performance by building props, costumes and performing at the end of the session.

Nature/Science/Cooking:

Campers discover the world through hands on experiments. Dinosaurs, metamorphosis, the weather, space, plants, making pizza, desserts, and more will all be explored.

Summer Field Trips :

Campers will have the opportunity to participate in traveling field trips during the summer.

Swimming:

All swimming for TVLC will take place outdoors at Hopewell Valley Swim and Tennis Center (HVSTC), located on Titus Mill Road in Pennington. Children will receive ½ hour to 40 minutes of both instructional swim and recreational swim. TVLC provides a ratio of 1:4 while at the pool; HVSTC provides trained lifeguards and swim instructors.

What To Bring To Camp:

• Sunscreen
• Lunch (except Fridays) Pizza $2.00 (optional), Cream King $2.00 (optional)
• Campers will receive a TVLC T-shirt. Shirts must be worn at swimming and all field trips. Additional shirts may be purchased
• Swim Days – Tuesdays and Thursdays – Pool shoes, a towel, a camp t-shirt must be worn, and a labeled bathing suit
• Please provide an extra change of clothes
• Backpack or camp bag everyday
